Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce

  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup


Kitchen Utensils:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Whisk

  • Baking sheet

  • Measuring Cups

  • Measuring Spoons

  • Parchment paper

  • Bowl for buffalo sauce

  • Tongs


Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until you have a smooth batter.

3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it's evenly coated, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

4. Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

5. While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing the hot sauce, melted vegan butter, and maple syrup in a bowl.

6. Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

7. Return the cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

8. Serve the Fiery Cauliflower Blasts hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
